Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the construction market.
    • Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and demonstrations to promote our company’s products and solutions.
    • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the construction industry, market trends, and customer requirements.
    • Negotiate and close sales deals while maintaining customer relationships that are long-term.
  • Territory Management
    • Develop and maintain your assigned territory to ensure correct coverage to maximize company exposure and sales.
    • Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Maintain thorough and accurate records of your sales activities, interactions with customers, and product pipeline information in our company’s CRM system.
  • Relationship Building
    • Establish and maintain positive rapport while targeting architects, general contractors, developers, dealers, and other relevant decision makers.
    • Work closely with internal personnel to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge and Expertise
    • Develop an in-depth comprehension of our flagpole and manufactured products, specifications, features, and benefits.
    • Stay updated on industry codes and standards for flagpole installations.
    • Provide expert advice and solutions tailored toward specific needs of each construction job and its customers.
  • Administration
    • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and any other sales documentation required.
    • Attend sales meetings, professional development, and events to stay informed about products, company initiatives, and industry developments.
    • Maintain compliance with our company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the construction or building industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Possess a “Hunter” sales mentality.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management software and sales tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel to assigned territory.

Compensation:

Base salary: $60,000, plus commission.  Expected first year earnings could be as much as $150,000 and beyond!
